My last big adventure on my excursions away from home was a day in Chester Zoo.

Now i know what you are thinking – Monki going to a zoo seems like a silly idea but I did enjoy seeing all the animals and although the morning was a very bizarre weather experience with real hot sunshine then pouring with rain, thunder and lightening and then boiling hot sun again which cycled a bunch of times from 10am to about 1pm which was crazy.

The day was so much fun even if my legs were burning from so many days of walking and exploring.

I saw so many different animals, my favorites were of course the monkeys but also the bats, they are so adorable and its such an experience to sit and enjoy their presence in their enclosure.

If you ever get the chance to visit Chester zoo then I really do recommend it but do check the weather before hand and plan accordingly lol.

I am glad to be back home even if it does mean getting back to work I need a long sleep after all that excitement
